143. Ms McManus asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the position in regard to the public consultation process on the draft public service broadcasting charter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22052/03]

Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources (Mr. D. Ahern): The public consultation on the draft charter was concluded last month and I am considering the submissions received. I will shortly finalise the charter and bring it to Government, before publication.
