Written Answers. - School Staffing.

  180. Ms Enright asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the serious concerns in a number of schools in relation to the operation of the appeals board in respect of appeals on applications for extra teachers; if he intends to review the operation of the appeals board; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19381/03]

Minister for Education and Science (Mr. N. Dempsey): I am satisfied the new appeals process established last year is working satisfactorily.
