76. Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Finance when the old Garda barracks property at Bangor Erris, Ballina, County Mayo, will be made safe in view of its current unsafe condition. [18182/03]

Minister of State at the Department of Finance (Mr. Parlon): Arrangements are currently in hand by the Commissioners of Public Works to have the old Garda barracks property at Bangor Erris made safe. The necessary works will be completed by end of June 2003.
