Mr. N. Dempsey Mr. N. Dempsey
Minister for Education and Science (Mr. N. Dempsey): My Department is aware of the situation referred to by the Deputy. The part-time resource teacher currently employed by the school has a caseload of two children in the school. Both these children are leaving the school at the end of the current school year, June 2003. A further application for resource hours for a child in the school has been received by my Department. A decision on this application will be made as quickly as possible and my Department will advise the school of the outcome immediately thereafter.
