Ms Burton asked the Minister for Health and Children when he intends to publish the [511] report commissioned from Deloitte & Touche on the GMS, which he received on 6 February 2003; if it is intended to implement the recommendations of the report; and if he will make a statement on the matter.   Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): I understand that Deloitte & Touche has substantially finalised its review into the governance and accountability mechanisms in the GMS scheme and I would hope to have a final report from it in the next few weeks. The recommendations of this review will be considered in the broader context of the proposals for reform of the health service generally which were presented to Government last week.
