  213. Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of sixth class schoolchildren currently awaiting their MMR vaccination in each health board area; the arrangements that have been put in place, in view of the public health doctors' strike, to ensure that these children are vaccinated before they leave primary school in June 2003; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15124/03]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): Operational responsibility for the administration of the school booster programme lies with the individual health boards, which have appropriate regional and local management structures in place to manage the delivery of the immunisation programme. My Department monitors the operation of the programme nationally.
