159. Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Kildare will have access to a hip operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4218/03]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons residing in Counties Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow rests with the ERHA. My Department has asked its regional chief executive to investigate the matter and to reply to the Deputy directly.
