Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism his plans for the provision of funding for any other sports stadia throughout the country; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In relation to other stadia, it is open to sporting bodies to submit applications for funding under the national lottery-funded sports capital programme, which is administered by my Department. I intend to advertise and invite applications to the 2003 programme in March this year. Mr. Durkan Mr. Durkan 59. [2239/03] Mr. O'Donoghue Mr. O'Donoghue Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism (Mr. O'Donoghue): Under the national lottery-funded sports capital programme which is administered by my Department, funding is allocated to sporting and community organisations at local, regional and national level throughout the country. In the last three years, under the sports capital programmes for 2000 to 2002 inclusive, a total of €180.28 million was allocated, of which €64.46 million has been drawn down to date.
