Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if there is a requirement on member states of the European Union under any EU directive to ensure that all [317] dwellings have at least one bedroom separate to living and cooking accommodation; if so, if this has an effect on previously existing accommodation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
