[147]   Minister for the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Cullen): I propose to take Questions Nos. 28, 34 and 342 together.

The question of disqualification from local authority membership was reviewed by the Oireachtas last year and the resulting provisions are set out in section 13 of the Local Government Act, 2001. Any further amendment of these provisions will be a matter for consideration in the context of any future changes to the Government's legislation programme.
