  1377. Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his Department will ascertain from the Land Registry Office when a schedule will be registered for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [16270/02]

  Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. McDowell): I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is a schedule application for the vesting of land by the Land Commission. Schedule Number 80635 refers. Land Commission Schedule applications are deemed to be registered as of the date of vesting which is prior to the date of lodgement of the documents in the Land Registry. Accordingly, registration in the Land Registry of Land Commission cases is afforded a lower priority than the registration of other dealings. I am further informed that, subject to no queries arising, the application will be completed within the next few weeks.
