Ryan asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason for the delay in providing a permanent catering facility at St. Ita's hospital, Portrane, County Dublin; the reason for the delay in applying for planning permission for the new building; if there is a commitment for the project; his views on the fact that up to 2000 meals per day are provided in pre-fabricated accommodation, which is causing industrial relations unrest; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
