79. Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason for the delay in the admittance of a person (details supplied) in County Louth to the Mater Hospital for a triple bypass; and when this person will be admitted. [12126/02]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents of County Louth rests with the North Eastern Health Board. Therefore, my Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
