Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Finance if the Office of Public Works has examined the potential for development, including the provision of more suitable accommodation for gardaí and for a divisional station, at the site of the existing Tallaght Garda Station; the discussions which have taken place with the Department of Justice,  Equality and Law Reform; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Finance (Mr. McCreevy): A feasibility study is being carried out by the Commissioners of Public Works' architects to determine the maximum potential development value of the site. This report will be available shortly. The Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform on behalf of the Garda will be fully engaged in the decisions relating to the site.
