105. Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children if a bed will be provided for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo; when a bed will be provided for this person in Ballina District Hospital or Belmullet District Hospital. [4013/02]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): The provision of health services in the Mayo area is, in the first instance, the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised and reply direct to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
