Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will grant departmental recognition to a Gael Coláiste (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2848/02] Dr. Woods Dr. Woods 988 Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods): An application has been received in the planning and building unit of my Department for the recognition of an all-Irish unit at the post-[988] primary school referred to by the Deputy. In processing such an application, my Department must consider matters such as potential enrolments, accommodation requirements and existing similar provision in the area.
