Mr. McDowell asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if any persons have been charged arising out of arrests made outside the US Embassy on 25 November 2001; if he is satisfied with the tactics of the gardaí on that occasion; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue): I am informed by the Garda authorities that there is no record of any arrests having been made by An Garda Síochána outside the US Embassy on the 25 November 2001, nor of any incident occurring which required action by the Garda Síochána.
