377. Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny has been waiting two years for an assessment at St. Luke's [555] Hospital, Kilkenny; and if he will expedite the treatment required for this person. [26195/01]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): The South-Eastern Health Board is responsible for the provision of hospital services in the case to which the Deputy refers. I have, therefore, asked the chief executive of the board to look into the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
