Miss de Valera Miss de Valera Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands (Miss de Valera): I move: 338 That the proposal that Dáil Éireann approve the terms of the Convention on International [338] Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) signed at Washington DC on 3 March, 1973 – as amended by an extraordinary meeting of the conference of the parties in Bonn in 1979, and as further amended by an extraordinary meeting of the conference of the parties at Gaborone, Botswana, in 1983, be referred to the Select Committee on Heritage and the Irish Language, in accordance with paragraph (1)(a)(iii) of the orders of reference of that committee, which shall, not later than 22 November 2001, send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 79B, and Standing Order 79A(2) shall accordingly apply.
