Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress in the provision of extra accommodation at Clogh national school, Castlecomer, County Kilkenny; if agreement on the specification of the buildings required by the school has been reached; and if a date has been set for commencement of the work. [24403/01] Dr. Woods Dr. Woods Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods): My Department has received an application for grant-aid towards the cost of a building project at Clogh national school, County Kilkenny. The Deputy will appreciate that there has been a massive and unprecedented increase in the funds allocated by this Government to the schools building programme at all levels. Decisions relating to the rate of progress to construction of projects, including the school referred to by the Deputy, will be taken in light of the allocations to be made for school building purposes in the forthcoming estimates.
