185. Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science when a classroom assistant will be sanctioned for a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [24401/01]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods): I am aware of the application for special needs assistant support for the pupil referred to by the Deputy. My Department's primary inspectorate is investigating the application. Once the inspectorate has reported, my officials will be in contact with the school authorities.
