Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of applications awaiting processing in each health board area under the housing aid for the elderly schemes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have been informed that the latest statistical information available to that Department, as at 1 June 2001, indicates the following numbers of applications on hand under the special housing aid scheme for the elderly:
