Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Health and Children the total amount of funding spent on preventative health measures by his Department in 2000, including public education awareness campaigns and screening programmes; the percentage of the total Department expenditure for 2000 which this expenditure represents; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22124/01] Mr. Martin Mr. Martin Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): The information the Deputy requested is as published in the Revised Estimates for Public Services, 2001 and is set out in the following table.
