172. Mr. D. Carey asked the Minister for Health and Children the progress made towards the provision and development of services in the breast cancer unit at Ennis General Hospital; the allocation of money approved for this work from the budget authorised by his Department to the Mid-Western Health Board in 2001; the number of extra staff to be appointed to the unit in 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): The provision of services at Ennis General Hospital are a matter for the Mid-Western Health Board. Accordingly, I have asked its chief executive officer to reply directly to the Deputy in relation to the issues raised.
