Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if he will give a breakdown of the additional £17 million spent on marketing due to the foot and mouth crisis; the funds allocated to each market; the breakdown of the way in which this funding was spent; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17195/01] Dr. McDaid Dr. McDaid Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation (Dr. McDaid): This year Bord Fáilte received an additional allocation of £10 million for tourism product marketing and promotional purposes in the budget for the 2001 season and subsequently was allocated by Government a further £7 million specifically towards a special reassurance campaign to deal with the impact of the foot and mouth disease crisis. The expenditure of these moneys, including the £10 million reassurance campaign, is being rolled out by Bord Fáilte in our main source markets, including Britain, continental Europe and North America.
