Dáil Éireann - Volume 537 - 12 June, 2001 Written Answers. - Office of Public Works. Mr. G. Mitchell Mr. G. Mitchell 273. Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Finance if his attention has been drawn to the concerns of a residents' association (details supplied) in Dublin 8; if he will direct that their formal request be agreed to; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17207/01] Mr. Cullen Mr. Cullen Minister of State at the Department of Finance (Mr. Cullen): I am aware of representations made by Mountshannon, Mayfield and Madison Roads Residents Association concerning Office of Public Works traffic using Mountshannon Road. Mountshannon Road is a cul-de-sac leading to Office of Public Works premises used principally as a furniture and store workshop. This facility has existed at this location for many years. It is essential to the business of the Office of Public Works that collections and deliveries continue to be made from and to the premises. I am advised that the Office of Public Works will monitor the level of heavier vehicle traffic using the Mountshannon Road entrance and will ensure that such traffic is kept to the essential minimum. The optimum use of all entrances to the premises will also be considered. Dáil Éireann 537 Written Answers. Office of Public Works. Questions 20010612
