Minister for Defence (Mr. M. Smith): A competition for the ongoing recruitment of instrumentalists to the Army School of Music was advertised at the end of last year. Arising from this competition five applicants who have been found suitable will be enlisted in the near future. Applications from a further two suitable candidates are also being processed at present. Appli[147] cations are still being accepted and consideration will be given to re-advertising the competition later in the year.
