Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Finance if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 146 of 6 March 2001, the necessary documentation has been received by his Department on behalf of a person (details supplied) in County Sligo in relation to deferral of probate tax; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Finance (Mr. McCreevy): I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the relevant papers in this case have now been presented to the capital taxes division and that they have already agreed to a postponement of the probate tax payable.
