148. Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will reconsider the closure of the legal aid centre in Mount Street, Dublin 2; and the reason the closure is being considered. [12623/01]

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue): I refer the Deputy to my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 12232/01 of 1 May 2001.

In addition, I would point out to the Deputy that applicants for legal services in the Dublin area are also served by Blanchardstown, Clondal[1076] kin, Finglas, Gardiner Street, Ormond Quay and Tallaght Law Centres.
