[772] 161. Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of babies born to parents with County Mayo addresses in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000; and the number of residents of County Mayo who died over the same period. [12532/01]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): My Department has written to the chief executive officers of the Eastern Regional Health Authority and the health boards and has sought the information requested by the Deputy. As soon as I receive the information requested I will write to the Deputy with a detailed response.
