O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the names and addresses of the grant aided projects under each of the six categories which have been funded by Blackwater Leader resource development under Leader II; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (Mr. Walsh): In conformity with the bottom up philosophy for Leader activity defined by the European Commission, Leader II local action groups had authority and responsibility for decision making in relation to the allocation of funding and approval of grant aid for projects in their areas. In that context, I have asked the Blackwater Leader Resource Development group to supply the information requested directly to the Deputy.
