Mr. O'Donoghue Mr. O'Donoghue
Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue): I propose to take Questions Nos. 40, 43 and 49 together.
Work has already commenced on implementing a number of the report's recommendations. The remaining recommendations cover a wide range of areas which fall within the areas of competency of a number of Departments and agencies, including my Department. Work, based on consultations with other Departments and agencies, is continuing on developing an implementation plan in respect of these remaining recommendations, including the recommendation that a high ranking civil servant, preferably in the Department of the Taoiseach, be designated to advance and monitor implementation. I expect to submit the plan to Government for approval in the near future.
