Written Answers - Local Authority Reports.

[1072] 159. Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he is satisfied that the reports received from county managers throughout the country are fully comprehensive and detailed; if he will indicate fully all breaches by staff, especially in planning areas; if he has investigated these complaints satisfactorily; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10926/01]

Minister for the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Dempsey): As I indicated in my reply to Question No. 30 on 5 April, I have received the reports I had requested from all managers about the matter of staff engaging in activities which were incompatible with their official roles. I am examining these reports. I hope shortly to conclude this examination and I will then publish the reports.
