347. Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform further to Parliamentary Question No. 332 of 22 November 1999, the progress made on the land registry application of a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4436/01]

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue): I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that these applications refer to a transmission and an application under section 49 of the Registration of Title Act, 1964, which were lodged on 5 November 1998 and 16 November 1998 respectively. I am further informed that queries issued to the lodging solicitors on 5 December 2000 regarding the section 49 application and that both applications cannot proceed until these queries have been satisfactorily resolved. Accordingly, it is not possible to estimate a completion date for the application concerned at this stage. I have also been informed by the Land Registry that Dealing No. D1998SM007593K must be brought to a satisfactory conclusion before Dealing No. D1998SM007404K can proceed.
