Mr. Moloney asked the Minister for Health and Children the total funding allocated each year from 1995 to 2001 by his Department for counties Laois and Offaly; and the major developments that began or major service improvements funded as a result of an increase in funding in each of these years. [4455/01] Mr. Martin Mr. Martin 1363 Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): The Department of Health and Children approves annual budgets for the Midland Health Board as a whole. It is a matter for the board to allocate its funding between different programmes of treatment and care in the counties [1363] covered by it.
