[1417] 144. Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Finance when the Cashen drainage report will be published, and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3105/01]

Minister of State at the Department of Finance (Mr. Cullen): The technical summary report on the lower Feale catchment flood study has now been received by the Commissioners of Public Works. This report contains an analysis of potential flood alleviation measures with a number of options. These options are now being examined by the commissioners with a view to establishing their precise costs, effectiveness, efficiency and benefits.
