Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 252 of 4 April 2000 and Parliamentary Question No. 903 of 3 October [741] 2000, he will provide an update in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28256/00] Mr. O'Donoghue Mr. O'Donoghue Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue): While the position in relation to the building of a new Garda station at Muff remains the same, I understand that the Office of Public Works has entered into consultation with Donegal County Council regarding a proposal to provide alternative, temporary, accommodation for the Garda at a particular residence in Muff. As regards the Deputy's question of 3 October last, the position remains the same for each of the categories of equipment nominated with the exception of fax machines. I am now informed by the Garda authorities that 30 stations in the Donegal division have not been issued with fax machines, and not 28 as previously communicated to me by them.
