Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will provide a report from the Garda authorities regarding the action they have taken to prosecute the youths responsible for the continuous harassment of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28236/00] Mr. O'Donoghue Mr. O'Donoghue Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue): I am informed by the Garda authorities that the person in question reported by telephone to Cabra Garda station that drunken youths were harassing him and stoning his house on a nightly basis. Details of these reports were taken down by gardaí for investigation and were recorded for the information of all units in the station. I understand that all mobile and beat patrols were instructed to pay attention to his house. I am further informed that the community policing inspector and gardaí have called to the person, who was unable to identify the culprits and that despite extensive inquiries, no persons have been made amenable for these offences, as yet. I understand that the complainant's house will continue to receive attention from mobile and beat patrols and any incidents will be dealt with under appropriate legislation.
