Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue): The total number of persons employed in the Land Registry and Registry of [193] Deeds on 31 October 2000 was 580, of which 421 were based in Dublin and 159 in Waterford.

I should mention that the total staffing figure includes 54 officers serving in a job-sharing capacity. On 31 October 2000, 51 of the 421 Dublin based staff and three of the Waterford based staff were job-sharers.
