Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the total number and location of people employed in the Land Registry Office. [25884/00] Mr. O'Donoghue Mr. O'Donoghue 193 Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Mr. O'Donoghue): The total number of persons employed in the Land Registry and Registry of [193] Deeds on 31 October 2000 was 580, of which 421 were based in Dublin and 159 in Waterford. I should mention that the total staffing figure includes 54 officers serving in a job-sharing capacity.
