152. Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay in granting approval for the new vocational school at Dungarvan, County Waterford; and if he will ensure that approval is granted as quickly as possible. [21412/00]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods): I am pleased to inform the Deputy that approval for a new vocational school at Dungarvan has been granted and architectural planning of the new school is well advanced. Currently, the stage four and five reports – detailed design/tender documents – are being considered within my Department.
