140. Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children the names and number of appointees to State agencies, bodies or boards made by him in the past 12 months; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18984/00]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): The number of persons appointed by me and my predecessor to the boards under the aegis of my Department since 1 June 1999 is 228. I am arranging to have a list of all those appointed to each board forwarded to the Deputy.
