Mr. Walsh Mr. Walsh
Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (Mr. Walsh): I welcome such reports as they greatly assist in the continuous review and improvement of our border inspection posts. My Department, having reviewed the mission report, has modified the procedures manuals issued to staff at the border inspection posts in the light of the recommendations made. In addition, and as part of this ongoing development, officials of my Department are in discussions with the relevant portal and airport authorities on the provision of facilities appropriate to each border inspection post.
