438. Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding provision of a new national school for a location (details supplied) in County Cork. [17984/00]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods): An application for additional accommodation from the school in question is being dealt with as quickly as possible by my Department having regard to the large number of school building projects on hand at present.

My Department will arrange to inform the school authorities of developments as they happen.
