178. Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children when an operation for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick will take place at the South Infirmary, Old Blackrock Road, Cork. [17561/00]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): The provision of medical treatment to patients in the South Infirmary/Victoria Hospital is a matter for the hospital. My Department has asked the secretary/manager of the hospital to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
