291. Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will provide details of the attendance rates for all of the second level schools in Dublin 11 for the first three months of 2000; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16611/00]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods): The information requested by the Deputy is not available to my Department. I should explain that the October pupil returns made by schools to my Department provide enrolment details only of pupils who are in attendance and under regular instruction as at 30 September each year.
