Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children the steps, if any, his Department has taken to encourage members of staff to cycle to work; and if he will consider a cycling allowance to promote cycling. [8631/00] Mr. Martin Mr. Martin Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin): A number of staff in my Department, including some of the most senior managers, cycle to work. Facilities provided to encourage cycling include a secure bicycle shed and a number of showers.
