The report of the interdepartmental group which I established last year to undertake the review of the Gaming and Lotteries Act, 1956 is almost complete and I expect to receive it in the near future. In accordance with its terms of reference, the review group has completed a thorough review of the Act including the provisions relating to private lotteries. As the Deputy will appreciate, it will not be possible for me to comment on any aspect until I have received the report and recommendations. Dáil Éireann 515 Written Answers. Gaming and Lottery Acts.
