838. Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Education and Science the proposals, if any, he has to provide special education facilities for a pupil (details supplied) in County Wexford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17591/99]

Minister for Education and Science (Mr. Martin): I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has now sanctioned an allocation of part-time resource teacher support and child care assistant support for the child in question. The child's school has recently been notified of this allocation.
