711. Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands the position in respect of a company which was to set up in Rinroe, Carrowtigue, Ballina, County Mayo, for which £400,000 was to be allocated by Údarás na Gaeltachta. [18521/99]

Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands (Éamon Ó Cuív): The matter in question is one solely for Údarás na Gaeltachta. However, I understand from an tÚdarás that it has sanctioned assistance for a health food supplements' enterprise in a factory owned by it in Carrowtigue and that steps are being taken, including substantial factory refurbishment to establish the business which will, as is normal, take some time to effect.
