Minister for Agriculture and Food (Mr. Walsh): Under the scheme of installation aid operated under the Operational Programme for Agriculture, Rural Development and Forestry (1994-1999), a total of 4,289 applications have been approved and paid to-date.

A total of 645 applications have been received under the national installation aid scheme since the scheme was introduced in December 1998 [933] and 196 of these applications have been approved and paid to date.
